Some of the clay coated papers work really well for this and you can even transfer coloured laser prints. Mar 10, 2016 · You can just use an iron to transfer the pattern. Do test the copier, I had a copier next door that worked a charm. Do some tests before ! From moistening with nailpolishremover or acetone until revealing the transfer it only takes less then a minute. It got replaced and did not work at all. Tape one side of the paper down with the ink against the wood and use the tip of the iron to remelt the plastic ink off the paper onto the wood. I tried that in a pinch once and it did not work, although it's supposed to contain acetone. Just about any toner based printer / copier / fax machine will work but there are some out there that use some sort of toner that does not work so take Rex 's advice and run a test.
