Retropie boots to black screen. Due to the computer monitor I'm using, the only config tweak I've done is to uncomment hdmi_safe=1 and config_hdmi_boost=4. I figured it had to do with login so I changed the option to boot into desktop with autologin but it has the same problem. Then the tv acts as if nothing is plugged in. There is a video signal, but it just shows an empty dark screen. Boot sequence goes good, but the last thing I see is the “starting SMB” service, then the screen gets black. 8 via the official RPI Imager and am booting, hitting the retropie splash screen and then when emulation station would normally start goes to a black screen and stays there indefinitely. It can take a while to resize an SD card filesystem so give it 5-20 minutes and see if it completes whatever it's doing.
